FEMA Approves Federal Firefighting Funds for Hawk Fire Near Reno

FEMA's Region 9 Regional Administrator authorized federal funds to help Nevada fight the Hawk Fire in Washoe County, after the state requested a Fire Management Assistance Grant on Aug. 22 [1].
