Twilio opens Webhook Configuration API to public beta
Twilio said its Webhook Configuration API has entered public beta, letting customers set how Twilio authenticates and delivers outbound webhooks on a per-URL basis [1]. The API has two resources: Webhook Settings, which hold authentication and connection details including OAuth 2.0 or Shared Key signatures plus delivery options such as timeouts and retries, and Webhook Rules, which tie a setting to a URL pattern [1]. With OAuth 2.0, Twilio retrieves an access token from the customer's authorization server via the client credentials flow and passes it as a Bearer token in the Authorization header of each webhook [1].
