Google Ads adds AI Max A/B testing and Performance Planner updates

Google said it is rolling out new experimentation and planning features for AI Max in Google Ads, building on existing one-click experiments [1][2]. Starting in September, advertisers will be able to run a single A/B test across multiple Search campaigns to see how budget and ROI target changes affect results [1][2]. AI Max experiments can now be run with brand and location parameters turned on, so those controls stay in place during testing [1][2]. Performance Planner can also predict how bidding or budget shifts would change performance and allows the suggestions to be applied immediately [2].
